Ingredients
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
- 1 (12-count) can refrigerated soft breadsticks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease baking sheets.
Combine mozzarella, Parmesan, basil and chives in a shallow bowl and mix well.
Cut each breadstick into strips. Brush with olive oil.
Coat each breadstick half with mozzarella mixture and twist. Arrange on the prepared baking sheets.
Bake until lightly browned, 12 to 14 minutes.
Secret Tip
If you don't have a pastry brush for brushing on the olive oil, try using a clean, basket-style paper coffee filter, scrunched into a ball. Dip the filter in the oil and paint the oil onto the bread dough.
