Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 cup milk
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9- x 9-inch baking dish.
Combine flour, oats, honey, milk, butter, egg, baking powder and salt in a large bowl and mix well.
Spoon mixture into prepared baking dish.
Bake until lightly browned, about 15 to 20 minutes.
Secret Tip
Honey can be tricky to measure since some of it sticks to the inside of the measuring cup. Pour the melted butter into the measuring cup first. Then, after adding the butter to the batter, measure the honey. The butter in the cup allows the honey to slip right out.
