Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 6 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 bananas, sliced
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
  • 3 1/2 cups cold milk
  • 3 1/2 cups cold milk
  • 2 (3.9-ounce) packages chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 8 ounces whipped topping
  • 12 maraschino cherries

Directions

  1. Combine graham cracker crumbs, butter and sugar in a small bowl and mix well. Press mixture evenly over the bottom of a 13- x 9-inch dish. Arrange bananas on top of graham cracker mixture.

  2. Beat cream cheese in a large bowl with an electric mixer until smooth, about 1 minute. Add 1/4 cup milk and beat well. Add remaining milk and pudding mix. Beat for 5 minutes.

  3. Drop chocolate mixture by spoonfuls on top of bananas and spread evenly.

  4. Spread whipped topping over pudding mixture. Garnish with maraschino cherries. Chill until serving time.

Secret Tip

If you're in a hurry, you can use a prepared graham cracker crust. Use 3 bananas, 1 package cream cheese, 2 cups milk and 1 package pudding mix.
