Mint Ice-Cream Dessert
Remember when the ultimate dinner party dessert was crème de menthe over ice cream? This dessert recaptures that great flavor combination for the whole family.

Ingredients
- 12 (13.67-gram) chocolate-covered peppermint patties
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
- 4 peppermint sticks, crushed, optional for garnish
Directions
Combine peppermint patties and milk in a small microwave-safe dish; cover.
Microwave on HIGH (100% power), stirring every 15 seconds, until candy is melted, about 1 minute.
Serve sauce over scoops of ice cream. Garnish with crushed peppermint.
Secret Tip
Double the amount of milk to 1/4 cup and the peppermint patties to 12 ounces to make a dessert fondue for dipping butter cookies. Guests won't believe how good and simple it is, and everyone will want the recipe.
