Ingredients
- 1 1/4 pounds ground beef
- 3/4 pound ground lamb
- 1 cup frozen chopped onion
- 3/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 2 teaspoons refrigerated minced garlic
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
Directions
Preheat broiler.
Combine ground beef, ground lamb, onion, parsley, bread crumbs, egg, garlic, coriander, cumin and salt in a large bowl and mix well.
Shape mixture into 8 patties. Arrange on a broiler pan.
Broil 6 inches from heat until cooked through, about 6 to 8 minutes per side.
Secret Tip
For the quickest cleanup, add about 1/2 inch water to the bottom of the broiler pan. Broil the patties as directed. The fat will drip into the water, rather than burning onto the pan, and cleanup will take just a minute.
