Homemade Corn Dogs
For a fun Friday night menu, go for a state fair theme. Serve corn dogs, popcorn and lemonade.

Ingredients
- 8 hot dogs
- 1/2 cup prepared yellow mustard
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 2 (11 1/2-ounce) packages corn bread twists
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Insert wooden skewers into hot dogs.
Combine mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup and Cajun seasoning in a small bowl and mix well. Chill, covered, until serving time.
Unroll corn bread dough and separate into 8 sections to form large rectangles. Press perforations to seal.
Place 1 hot dog on each dough rectangle. Roll up dough to enclose hot dog, pressing to seal seams. Arrange on a baking sheet. Bake, turning 2 or 3 times, until golden, about 12 to 14 minutes. Serve with mustard sauce.
Secret Tip
If you're comfortable with deep-frying in a deep fryer or large saucepan, you can fry the corn dogs in hot vegetable oil for more authentic flavor.
