Ingredients

  • 6 boneless pork chops (about 3/4 inch thick)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup orange marmalade, melted
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon refrigerated minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Directions

  1. Preheat grill to medium.

  2. Sprinkle pork chops with salt and black pepper. Grill 6 inches from heat, brushing occasionally with marmalade, until cooked through, about 6 minutes per side.

  3. Meanwhile, combine orange juice, soy sauce, garlic and thyme in a small skillet. Cook over high heat, stirring frequently, until reduced by two-thirds, about 5 minutes. Serve over the pork chops.

Secret Tip

Save yourself cleaning a pan or dish by letting the heat of the grill or broiler melt the marmalade. Just place a spoonful of marmalade on each chop as it grills. It will melt as the chop heats up, then you can spread it around. Repeat after turning the chops.
