Sautéed Cherry Tomatoes
Pretty as a picture and fresh as a summer garden, these sautéed cherry tomatoes will spruce up any entree.
Prep Time:
Cooking Time: 45 minutes
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon refrigerated minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 48 cherry tomatoes
Directions
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté garlic in hot oil, stirring continually, until tender, about 3 minutes.
Add parsley, dill, kosher salt and black pepper to garlic mixture and mix well. Add the tomatoes.
Cook mixture, shaking skillet frequently, for 3 minutes. Serve warm.
Secret Tip
Cherry tomato "flowers" make a beautiful garnish. Place the tomatoes stem ends down on a cutting board. Cut each tomato into sixths, cutting to within 1/4 inch of the bottom. Gently spread the "petals" and position the flowers on plates or platters for a professionally garnished look.
