Jamaican Steak Fries
Big and crunchy, these fries will spice up any meal from grilled steak to breaded fish. They’re also great served as an appetizer.
Prep Time:
Cooking Time: 45 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 (28-ounce) package frozen steak fries, thawed
- 1 teaspoon jerk seasoning
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup chili sauce
- 1/3 cup chili sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
Spread steak fries on prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with jerk seasoning.
Bake until golden, about 20 to 22 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine mayonnaise, chili sauce and hot pepper sauce in a small bowl and mix well. Serve with hot fries.
Secret Tip
Steak fries should be crisp and crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Be sure to space the fries on the baking sheet so that there is plenty of room between. If they touch or are too close together, they will steam and become soggy.
