Cheesy Olive Bites
Savory Cheddar pastry surrounds salty, tangy olives for a ?can’t-stop-eating appetizer.

Ingredients
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 4 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 24 to 30 pimiento-stuffed green olives
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Combine Cheddar, butter and paprika in a medium bowl and mix well.
Add flour to Cheddar mixture and mix well. Shape into a ball.
Shape dough by teaspoonfuls around each olive. Arrange in a baking pan.
Bake until lightly browned, about 12 to 15 minutes.
Secret Tip
The cheese dough makes a fantastic crust for a quiche or even an apple pie. Simply pat it into a pie plate, pressing it up the side with your fingers. Or, to use it later, place the dough ball on a piece of plastic wrap. Fold the plastic wrap over it and slightly flatten into a disk. Chill until ready to use.
