Prep Time:
Cooking Time: 45 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 (8-ounce) package refrigerated corn bread sticks
- 1 cup well-drained sauerkraut
- 2 tablespoons Thousand Island salad dressing
- 1 teaspoon whole-grain mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 8 ( 1/2-ounce) thin slices deli corned beef
- 4 thin slices baby Swiss cheese, cut in half
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Unroll corn bread dough and separate into 2 rectangles. Cut each rectangle into 4 triangles. Roll each triangle to make a 7-inch triangle.
Combine sauerkraut, salad dressing, mustard and caraway seeds in a medium bowl and mix well.
Place 1 corned beef slice across the wide side of one dough triangle, folding the corned beef slice if needed. Spread 2 tablespoons of the sauerkraut mixture over the corned beef. Place a cheese slice over the sauerkraut mixture. Roll up, beginning with wide end of triangle. Place tip side down on a baking sheet. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
Bake until golden, about 11 to 13 minutes.
Secret Tip
Baby Swiss is typically younger than regular Swiss cheese, which means that the flavor is milder. It lacks the bite of mature Swiss, and the holes are smaller.
