Homemade Pepperoni Pizza
Letting kids layer the topping ingredients onto the crust gives them hands-on cooking experience while freeing up the head chef.

Ingredients
- 1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
- 1/3 cup water
- 3/4 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 (12-inch) prepared pizza crusts

- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 3 1/2 ounces thinly sliced pepperoni
Directions
Preheat oven to 450°F.
Combine tomato paste, water, Italian seasoning, onion powder and garlic powder in a small bowl and mix well.
Spread equal portions of sauce evenly over each pizza crust. Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan. Arrange pepperoni on top. Bake until hot and bubbly, about 10 minutes.
Secret Tip
For top-quality, fresh-tasting pepperoni, buy a length of this highly seasoned dried sausage in the deli department of the supermarket. Then use a food processor or mandoline to slice it into rounds.
