Linguine with Clam Sauce

Ingredients
- 16 ounces linguine
- 8 tablespoons (1 stick) butter
- 1/3 cup frozen chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon refrigerated minced garlic
- 2 (6 1/2-ounce) cans minced clams
- 2 (6 1/2-ounce) cans minced clams
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
Cook pasta using package directions; drain.
Meanwhile, melt butter in a medium saucepan. Sauté onion and garlic in hot butter until golden.
Drain clams, reserving about 2/3 cup liquid. Add reserved liquid to onion mixture. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Stir in clams and parsley.
Cook, stirring occasionally, until heated through, about 2 to 3 minutes.
Combine clam mixture and pasta in a pasta bowl and toss to coat. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Serve immediately.
