Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken-breast halves
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Chopped tomato
  • 4 pita pockets

Directions

  1. Preheat broiler. Cut chicken into 1-inch cubes.

  2. Mix sesame seeds, Worcestershire sauce, water, sugar, chili powder and garlic powder in a large bowl.

  3. Add chicken to Worcestershire sauce mixture and toss to coat.

  4. Arrange chicken on a broiler pan. Broil, turning once, until chicken is cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes. Stuff chicken, lettuce and tomato into pita pockets.

Secret Tip

Lettuce can be cut with a knife, if it is used right away. Cut off the top third of a head of iceberg lettuce and place cut side down on a work surĀface. Make horizontal cuts every quarter inch or less, then make crosswise cuts into shorter pieces.
